Question 1
Besides getting jobs after graduation, what else benefits do you think college students can get from college education?
 
你认为学生上大学,除了能在毕业后找工作,还能有什么其他收获?
 
此题目需要学生给出观点并且加以解释,话题依然围绕校园生活。
 
解题思路:
1. 人际关系的建立。在大学里,除了学习知识以外还需要参加各种课外活动,社区活动,社团和学生会活动。这些活动可以建立属于自己的社交圈子,提高交流技巧,学会如何处理人际关系,与他人合作等。
2. 独立能力的培养。大部分大学生在求学期间会住在宿舍或在外租房子。通过独立生活,可以提高自理能力,学会做家务并自己解决生活上的困难。

Question 2
Some people sell the gifts their friends gave them or give the gifts to others. Do you think this is a good idea? Why?
 
有些人把朋友送给他们的礼物卖掉或转赠他人。你认为这样做好吗?为什么?
 
解题思路:
1. 好。避免资源的浪费,如果收到的礼物并不是自己需要的,闲置着反而会浪费该资源。卖掉可以为自己来带来一些小收入,利用赚来的钱买更有用的东西。转赠朋友,如果朋友刚好需要,TA会非常感谢,可以使彼此关系更好。
2. 不好。万一被送礼物一方发现会影响彼此关系。卖掉或者转赠他人,可能会使朋友生气,对方以后再也不送礼物。礼物体现了朋友的心意,是非常值得珍惜的。珍惜对方的礼物是对朋友的一种尊重,也是礼貌的表现。

独立写作——如何提高学生学习兴趣
 
Nowadays, many high school students are not interested in their classes. Which of the following way do you think would be the most effective way that a teacher can use to make students get interested in classes?
 
A.Using technology in the classroom more often
B.Ask students to have group talk more often
C.Explain to students what they learned is related to the world outside classroom
 
如今,很多高中生对课堂学习不感兴趣,老师使用以下哪个方法可引起学生兴趣?

本次独立题看似新,但依旧“新瓶装旧酒”。“科技”、“合作”和“实用性”3个方式可激发学习兴趣是我们常用的破题理由。针对高中生,老师选用哪种方式可让课堂变得比较好玩?写作时,同学要注意展开解释清楚这个问题,另可适当介绍高中阶段学生的特点。如果同学只写了“哪种方式可以提高学生的学习积极性”,内容有偏题嫌疑。

- TOPIC SENTENCE2: In addition, young students may devote more to courses, if they are aware of the knowledge they learn helps land a decent job in the future.
- TOPIC SENTENCE3:However, overexposure to technological gadgets may distract students from the class content, making them learn nothing. Nor is class discussion a smart choice, for slow learners may fail to put forward their opinion in class discussions and consider it time-consuming.
