Some people think educational games in group will benefit for students to study. While others think it may disturb students. Which do you prefer？
有人认为课堂上用小组教育游戏有利于学生的学习，有人认为它打扰学习而且低效。你赞同哪个？
 
回答分析：
Agree with S1—教育游戏的好处
1. 学生可以更投入在游戏当中，并且高效地获取知识。在互动和实践中，更容易记住所学的知识。尤其一些较为复杂的知识点，单凭老师解释，学生很容易忘记。
2. 学生在游戏中更容易放松，更愿意表达自己的想法，促进大家的交流，并且更热衷于参与课堂讨论，提高教学质量。
3. 游戏的互动可以让学生和老师之间有更多的互动和了解，可以增进彼此的感情。游戏中，学生能学会彼此合作，更有利于teamwork。
 

 
Agree with S2—教育游戏的坏处
1. 学生在玩游戏的时候很容易过于投入而失去控制，老师还要花时间去管理学生，严重影响上课的效率和教学进度。
2. 在游戏时，学生可能只是享受玩的过程，甚至会互相干扰，并没有记住游戏的教育意义，对知识的掌握也是无效的。

听力：男生反对
原因1：学生来这里准备他们的paper的时候通常只带两到三那本书，用不着那么多空间放东西，已经有足够空间放，学生也不能一次性读很多资料。
原因2：他认为女孩肯定是早上去的电脑室，那时候很多人都在教室所以很空但是晚上去就很挤，有时候还要排队，所以不能remove。

人们更容易记得在青年时期和二十岁左右的事情，而不是后来发生的事情。
讲座：教授拿学校里的一个研究做例子，给人三个东西，让人们看到这个物品的第一个反应的的故事，大部分反应的是小时候的故事。还举了一个50岁lady的例子，给她看猫的时候，虽然养过很多猫，但印象最深的还是第一只年轻时候养的猫。

帮助鸟在强风中飞行的两个特点，怎么调整他们的position来保持stay up in the strong wind 和 straight fly。
一个是调整wings，例子是ego会把他们的羽翼贴紧身体。

Nowadays, many movies or films are based on books. Some people prefer to read the original book before they watch the movie, other prefer to watch the movie before reading the book. Which one do you prefer?

For classics, reading the book first helps the audience better understand the plot line in the movie and the original story.

It is understandable that movies need to stray from the book a little bit in order to fit time and budget constraints, but sometimes that’s just not a good reason for major plot holes. Generally, I’ve seen film adaptations that are only 20% based off of what the author actually wrote and the other 80% is totally made up. The characters may be the same, but some of the events that occur may not be in the original story at all. Plot holes sometimes make it difficult to understand the sequence of events and why things are happening.

Reading books first and then watching movies give people more space to imagine.

Sometimes the story moves so fast that it ends without warning. Abbreviating the storyline often lessens the intended suspense. Reading the book can be intensely suspenseful as you follow the author over a longer period of time restricted only by their creativity. This freedom allows the story to flesh out and build suspense in areas the movie misses.

Movies are more visually appealing. There are special effects that blow your mind, and action sequences that your imagination really cannot do justice. Much of our imagination is limited to the confines of reality, whereas visually appealing movies can go beyond that on their quest to bring the fantasy to life. Even music and sound effects can make a difference in watching a movie. After all, playing suspenseful music when someone is walking down a corridor can put the audience on the edge of their seats more acutely than can reading about descriptions of the eerie corridor.

Most readers prefer to come up with a picture in their head of what they think the story’s setting looks like or what the characters look like. If you’re like me, though, seeing the visual adaptation first is incredibly helpful. I’m not the type of person who can picture the book’s details clearly in my mind; I need a blueprint, and I know I’m not the only one. Watching the movie or television show before reading the book can help readers get a clearer vision of what they’re reading.
