如果说由成绩单和标准化考试成绩组成的“硬件”是人的骨肉,那么作为“软件”的文书就是人的灵魂。在多门考试陆续取消的情况下，我们在申请时应当更加重视自己的文书写作。
 
最好的文书应该是流畅、通顺中不乏几处自然、笨拙的表达,这是真实的中国学生的水平。如果学生申请的是美国前20名顶尖名校，还需要在附加文书中写明自己在哪个特定领域有过什么样的研究。

I have been thinking about how to write this feedback for a whole day, to myself, every word I had heard from this online class is truly worth. I literally grasped the knowledge about how to make my own work fluent and appealing, by the way, I see this chance as a window to communicate with people who live in another side of earth. Before, I even do not know how to make my words plausible, saying everything with evidence base and data, but during this class, I found that people should not just think about things with evidence, chart, and statistics, we somehow could convey our emotions and describe a tiny story to make things plausible. 
 
And, to myself, my original aim is to gain the knowledge about how to write an application essay, based on this purpose, our teacher had gave me a full description and analysis. Including different titles, contents, and a bunch of references. By viewing others’ work, I can directly find out my lacks and shortages, having made them up in a quick time. 
 
Yeah, all in all, I need to thank my teacher Heather, Zian, and Ms. Tan, thanks a lot for assist me with so many patience and love, willingness you all have payed to hear my stories are treasure for me. I know that covid-19 has blocked our path to meet each other face to face, but this is the only time that we could deliberately use online system to run our works. Although there were some network problems, we still keep in touch closely. I hope we can keep in touch in the future as well!
 
我一直在思考如何写这个反馈，对我自己来说，我从这个网上课堂上听到的每一个字都是真正值得的。我着实明白了如何使我自己的写作流畅又抓人眼球，并且，我把这个机会看作是与生活在地球另一边的人交流的窗口。以前，我甚至不知道如何使我的话可信，总是用证据和数据说一切，但在这节课上，我发现人们不应该仅仅用证据、图表和统计来思考事情，我们可以通过传达我们的情绪，描述一个小故事，使故事变得可信。
 
对我自己来说，我最初的目的是获得关于如何写一篇申请论文的知识，基于这个目的，我们的老师给了我一个完整的描述和分析。其中包括不同的题材、内容和参考资料。通过阅读其他同学的文本，我可以更加直观地发现我的缺乏和短缺，然后快速弥补。
 
然后，我想要特别感谢我的老师：Heather、Zian和谭老师，非常感谢你们用这么多的耐心和爱心帮助我，你们聆听我的故事对我来说是宝贵的。我知道covid-19阻碍了我们能够面对面交流的机会，但这是我们唯一一次使用在线系统来沟通，上课，体验还是非常奇妙的。希望我们还能保持联系！
